The inspiration for this quilt was the extreme heat of this Summer (2015) and the constant desire to cool down in the ocean. I used my Batiks and small prints from my stash to make this quilt even more colourful than the original design. It portrays Bromeliads, Pineapple, Parrot Tails and Ocean waves.
